Your guests should be able to line dance, conduct organized group dances, stomp their feet, clap their hands, groove & grind, calypso, polka, and (often most importantly) slow dance. At your discretion, the D.J. entertainer will be the active host and emcee for the entire EVENT. The D.J. can welcome the special or honored guest(s), immediate family, invocation and blessing of the meal, and the serving of the meal or procession to the buffet. The D.J. will direct and acknowledge all highlights of the EVENT, establish the sequence and timing of the events with the host and coordinate with the other professionals, including the photographer, caterers, videographer, bakery, and facility host or other entertainment (clowns, magicians, singing telegrams, live performers, etc.).

-Professional Disc Jockies will be tasteful and appropriate in their announcements, responsive to "dilemmas" they encounter, and helpful in all planning stages of the EVENT.

-Professional Disc Jockies will utilize professional quality, attractive audio reinforcement and lighting systems.
-Professional Disc Jockies will offer the versatility and option of live Karaoke to give you and your guests a chance to perform your favorite songs
-Special effects packages and fixed lighting shows should be available at the EVENT host's request
-Professional Sound quality and coverage is far more important than volume. The sound you hear should not be painfully loud but should be properly equalized, processed, and balanced to be audible at a comfortable listening level.
-Cables, hardware, and other unsightly items should be properly concealed, secured, or organized to be made attractive.
-Active interaction with your guests is important but constant, persistent badgering is generally undesirable.
